How to Prepare Shatavari Kalp

How to prepare at home most organic and preservative free Shatavari Kalp?


100 gms Shatavari powder,
100 gms Wet Jaggery powder,
50 gms Cows Ghrut,
1 tsp each of Dry ginger powder, Nagkeshar powder, Cardamom powder, Dalchini powder,
1/2 tsp of black pepper powder.

In an iron thick-bottomed Kadhai, heat Cows Ghrut. When heated, add Shatavari powder. Constantly stir the contents. After 5 to 9 mins. mins or when uniformly heated, add wet jaggery powder, constantly stir the contents.
Make sure that mixture doesnot stick to pan.
Once thoroughly hot and granule starts to form, turn off the flame and add other powders as per liking and stir continuously.

Once cooled more granular this mixture will be.

When cooled naturally, Store in an airtight glass jar.

This is homemade preservative free fully organic and no white sugar added healthy Shatavari Kalp.

How to use?

  1. Granules can be eaten as it is 2 tablspoon each time.
  2. Granules can be mixed with hot cows milk 2 tbsp in a cup.
  3. 1 cup Hot water can be added to half cup granules of Shatavari kalp, to cook like Suji ka Halwa to prepare instantly ready to cook and ready to eat Shatavari Halwa.

More water can be added to prepare Shatavari Kheer.
More jaggery can be added as per liking of sweetness.
